FAQ
Will the procedure hurt?:
I will be using topical anesthetic cream and gel for numbing before and during your makeup or scalp procedure. Typically with traditional tattooing or laser removal we dont use a numbing agent. If requested, we can offer it for these services.
Pain threshold levels vary from person to person. We will try to keep you as comfortable as possible, and we can take breaks if needed!

Is it safe?
Yes, after each client all tools and equipment are cleaned and sterilized. New needles and pigment are used for each client.
How long will it take?
Depending on what you are having done it could vary from 1 hour to 6+ hours. 6+ hours would be for large coverups, larger tattoos, or scalp micropigmentation.
The typical procedure is about 2 hours, with the first 30 minutes waiting for the numbing to kick in, filling out forms,
and mapping the area we will be working on.
How long will the permanent makeup last?
For semi-permanent makeup I use organic pigments, which is different than tattoo ink. Depending on your body and lifestyle it could start to fade in 8 months to 1 year.
Others could have little to no change after 1, 2, or even 3 years. Lighter colors fade faster than darker ones do. I suggest a touch up every year or year and a half, to help the coloring stay even and look crisp.
What products are used?
I use the best pigments I have found, from my experience. They are all dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic.

What if I have makeup allergies?
99% of the time people who are allergic to makeup, are not allergic to the pigments used in cosmetic tattooing! If you have a lot of allergies, or would like to be extra cautious I can do a pinhead spot test for you in a discrete area.

Can you cover & remove stretch marks?
There are three methods at Veroct we can use for stretch- mark removal: 1. Laser removal. This will take multiple sessions depending on the person, and their stretch marks. 2. A tattoo cover up. This is not a semi-permanent tattoo, so the results will last but it is only "masking" the actual problem and will not solve texture issues. 3. Dry tattooing - Also known as dry needling. This is a permanent solution to the problem. Instead of only covering up the area, this fixes the issue. Dry tattooing also takes multiple sessions.

What about covering scars?
As long as the scar is completely healed, and at least 2 years old we can work on the affected area. We can work on any area to match the skin with the surrounding area.
Who is a good candidate for cosmetic tattooing?
Anyone!
Sports enthusiasts, who dont want to worry about makeup smudging and reapplying.
Busy people who are always on the go & People who like to always look their best.
People who might have a hard time seeing what they are doing, or holding pens and brushes.
People with medical issues such as alopecia, other types of hair loss, or skin discoloration.
Someone with allergies who had a hard time finding products that do not irritate the skin or cause other reactions.
How long will it take for a tattoo removal?
This is a tricky question because there are A LOT of factors that can go into this. What color(s) were used? How many layers are on the tattoo? Where on the body is it located? How long have you had it? Is there any scarring? Etc. In general it will take between 4 to 10 sessions. Though some lighter, older, tattoos can be removed in 2 or 3. Others might take 10+ sessions.
